August 19th workout: I tried the Kim Kardashian workout DVD. I made it throught the warm-up and workout number 1. I worked up a sweat. I do think the pace is a bit fast to get used to, but hopefully with more tries at it, I will be able to keep up.

Workin' it

I've decided to start a blog to keep my weight loss on track. It might be a bit embarrassing to admit how large I've allowed myself to get, but I'm hoping a public forum will start me on the track to getting to a less embarrassing weight. As of August 17th, I weigh 277 lbs. Wow, that sounds like a lot even on a 5'10" frame. I would like to be 100 lbs lighter by this time next year. Help me stay on track, please!
